Note:
In 1997, James Stroud of the Center Street Studio, Milton, reached out to 8 artists and proposed a Boston Portrait project. Although that project was never completed, several years later Wilson embarked on another self-portrait etching. Wilson drew several studies and etched the copper plate. While this second self-portrait project was also not completed, at least four impressions were pulled in varying states, one dated 8.26.03 (in Jim Stroud’s hand).
